Engaging our Suppliers
Daher adopts an ambitious decarbonization policy for its procurement activities of goods and services, representing 4% of the Group’s carbon footprint (Scope 3, GHG Protocol).
The involvement of suppliers is crucial to achieve our decarbonization goals, and they are actively engaged in this process within the framework of our responsible purchasing policy, recognized by the RFAR label (Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing). This ensures a shared trajectory aligned with that of the aerospace industry.
Actions
Assessing Carbon Maturity
In 2025, Daher launched an initial campaign involving 35 suppliers, representing more than one-third of the Group’s procurement-related emissions. The initiative is based on a dedicated questionnaire and assessment framework designed to evaluate suppliers’ climate maturity and identify shared improvement opportunities.
Supporting the Transition
Daher is working with its highest-emitting suppliers to build emissions reduction pathways aligned with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. This approach will gradually be extended to the Group’s main suppliers.
Integrating Climate into Procurement
Carbon-related criteria are gradually being integrated into procurement processes, management tools and tendering procedures. Procurement teams also receive dedicated training to support the transformation of the value chain.
Reducing Transportation Impact
Daher is participating in the FRET21 initiative to reduce emissions associated with purchased transportation services. Modal shift initiatives and the use of alternative fuels have already prevented several hundred tonnes of CO₂ emissions across the Group’s logistics flows.
Our Ambition
Daher is committed to decarbonizing its activities by collaborating with its suppliers, particularly the largest emitters. The integration of CO2 data and decarbonization actions is progressively being implemented into purchasing practices, with a specific training module on climate challenges.
