Daher today announced that it has obtained ISO 27001 certification for all of its information systems. This certification was officially awarded during the Paris Air Show in the presence of Yannick Nouel – the Cybersecurity Certification Manager at the French standards organization, AFNOR Certification; and Pascal Laguerre, Daher’s Chief Technology Officer. The recognition confirms Daher’s commitment to data protection and the continuous improvement of its information security processes.
This achievement comes at a time when data security is a critical issue for all companies, particularly in such high-stakes sectors as aerospace and defense. Daher’s ISO 27001 certification highlights its expertise in data protection – an asset that directly benefits both clients and partners.
The internationally recognized standard is built on three core pillars: integrity, confidentiality and availability of information. It covers technological aspects of cybersecurity, as well as physical information security and strict control over the distribution of sensitive data. With this certification, Daher adopts a comprehensive, systematic approach to managing and protecting sensitive information.
The ISO 27001 certification addresses three major objectives for Daher:
- Recognition of best practices that serve clients: In an environment of increasing demands, the certification confirms that Daher operates according to the highest standards in information security, reinforcing customer trust.
- A strategic milestone in Daher’s cybersecurity policy, building on certifications already obtained through the aerospace industry’s AirCyber program – where Daher has achieved both Bronze and Silver levels.
- Increased maturity in internal processes, which is a key asset for operating in defense markets.
This certification also positions Daher ahead of the upcoming PART-IS regulation by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which will become mandatory in October 2025. The new regulation establishes a framework for identifying and managing information security risks that could affect aviation safety. With ISO 27001 in place, Daher has a solid foundation to meet these future requirements.
