Building smarter industrial operations

Artificial intelligence is opening new possibilities for industrial organizations. Yet the real challenge lies not in adopting new technologies, but in turning them into practical solutions that deliver measurable value.
At Daher, the focus is clear: harness AI to improve operational performance, strengthen reliability and help teams serve customers more effectively. A recent AI Hackathon involving 130 employees from the Industrial Services division offered a concrete illustration of this ambition.

From AI experimentation to operational value
Rather than exploring AI concepts in theory, participants were challenged to address real business issues encountered in day-to-day operations. Bringing together expertise from operations, quality, finance, HR, sales and HSE, multidisciplinary teams designed AI agents capable of supporting concrete industrial activities and solving practical operational challenges.
Guided by AI specialists, IT experts and innovation teams, employees developed and tested solutions in just a few hours. By the end of the event, 26 operational AI agents had been created, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can help automate repetitive tasks, facilitate decision-making, strengthen process compliance and improve operational efficiency.
Better services through smarter processes
Several of the solutions addressed challenges directly linked to operational performance, including quality management, employee onboarding and the management of technical non-conformities. While developed internally, these use cases illustrate a broader opportunity: using AI to improve the consistency, responsiveness and reliability of industrial processes.
For customers, the benefits are tangible. More efficient workflows can help accelerate execution, reduce administrative burden, improve traceability and support higher levels of service quality. By enabling employees to focus on higher-value activities, AI also has the potential to enhance expertise where it matters most: solving problems, supporting operations and delivering results.
Innovation driven by operational expertise
The hackathon also highlighted a core principle of Daher’s approach to innovation: the most valuable digital solutions emerge when technology is developed alongside operational knowledge. Bringing together employees who understand industrial realities with experts in digital technologies ensures that innovation remains practical, scalable and aligned with business needs.
Preparing the future of industrial services
For Daher, artificial intelligence is not an end in itself. It is a means to simplify processes, improve reliability, enhance compliance and continuously raise operational standards. The Group is committed to deploying AI in a practical, responsible and secure way, ensuring that technology remains focused on supporting people, solving real operational challenges and creating lasting value for customers. By encouraging employees to experiment, innovate and develop solutions connected to everyday business needs, Daher is helping build the next generation of industrial services, where human expertise and AI work together to deliver greater performance and customer value.
