Board of Directors changes at Daher

Marwan Lahoud and Éric Versey have been appointed as directors, replacing Frédérique Kalb and Michel Giannuzzi, respectively. Versey represents Bpifrance.

These appointments reflect the Board’s intention to strengthen the diversity of its expertise in supporting the Group’s development strategy, as well as reinforcing its governance in line with the industrial, economic and market challenges it faces.

Recognized expertise at the service of Daher

Marwan Lahoud’s appointment to the Board of Directors significantly strengthens the Board’s industrial and aerospace expertise. With his distinguished career in aerospace, defense and major international industrial programs, Lahoud brings in-depth knowledge of industrial ecosystems, major contractors and strategic clients in the sector – as well as extensive experience in governance and long-term strategy.

Éric Versey, who was appointed on behalf of Bpifrance, brings detailed knowledge in financing, industrial transformation and regional development. With nearly 25 years of experience in supporting companies (small and medium enterprises/SMEs, mid-sized companies and major industrial projects), he has a deep understanding of local economic dynamics and the growth drivers for French businesses.

Marwan Lahoud – Director

A former senior executive in the aerospace and defense sectors, Marwan Lahoud has internationally recognized experience in leading complex industrial strategies and in the governance of major corporations.

He notably served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Strategy and Marketing at the Airbus Group and was a member of its Executive Committee, after previously serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MBDA – a global leader in missile systems. In these positions, he was at the heart of relationships with major civil and military clients – from governments to large international industrial players, and he steered long-term strategies in highly competitive and regulated environments.

Lahoud also held several governance and advisory roles on boards of directors and strategic committees in France and internationally. His career has given him a deep understanding of client challenges, long industrial cycles and sector dynamics – assets that will be invaluable to the work of Daher’s Board of Directors.

He is an engineer by training and a graduate of France’s École Polytechnique and ISAE-SUPAERO. Lahoud is an Officer of the Legion of Honour.

 Éric Versey – Director

Éric Versey is the Executive Director in charge of Financing and Network at Bpifrance and a member of its Executive Committee. He oversees the financial support provided to companies throughout France for this public sector investment bank.

With more than 20 years of experience supporting the development of SMEs, mid-sized companies and major industrial projects, Versey has strong expertise in corporate financing, growth and transformation, as well as a deep knowledge of regional economic realities. He notably has led several regional Bpifrance networks (Franche-Comté, Brittany, North-West France, Île-de-France, and Overseas Territories), working closely with entrepreneurs and local ecosystems.

Versey holds a Master’s degree in Economics and graduated from the French Institute of Banking Techniques. He began his career in the banking and insurance sectors.
