Daher renews its management team

DAHER RENEWS ITS MANAGEMENT TEAM AND COMBINES ITS DEVELOPMENT CAPACITY WITH ITS BUSINESS KNOW-HOWParis, October 12, 2015 – Daher, an equipment manufacturer developing integrated industrial systems for aerospace and advanced technologies, has announced the renewal of its Executive Committee, eight months after appointing Didier Kayat to the post of Deputy CEO, with a view to taking over as CEO from Patrick Daher in 2017.
The deployment of this new Management Committee goes hand in hand with a new internal organization at Daher, which will be operational as of January 1st, 2016. This organization is structured around:
• 3 Business Units focused on business development and programs,
• 3 Operational divisions devoted to execution and operational excellence.
With this renewed management team, Daher is equipped to tackle the major challenges of the Performance 2017 strategic plan and to prepare for those of the future strategic plan. In building this new organization, Daher’s ambition is, in particular, to confirm its operational excellence, to continue its international development, and to pursue its transformation to become a large company.
A renewed executive committee to prepare for the futurePatrick Daher, Chairman and CEO After graduating from the ESSEC business school, in 1991 he took over the management of the company, founded in 1863 by his great-grandfather, Paul Daher. In 2013, the French group celebrated its 150 years of existence during which its activities have grown and diversified, especially under the leadership of Patrick Daher. Didier Kayat, Deputy CEO After graduating from the ESCP Paris business school in 1987, Didier Kayat started his career in a multinational company environment. In 1993, he set up a strategy and organization consultancy firm (Ylios), which numbered Daher amongst its customers.
He joined Daher in 2007 as Marketing and Development Director, before becoming Executive Vice-President for Strategy. In 2012, he was appointed Group Executive Vice-President and President of the Nuclear & Energy and Capital Goods divisions.
In January 2015, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Florent Perdriau, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Information Systems Having graduated from ESSEC, Florent Perdriau joined Valeo as financial controller in 1998. In 2006, he joined Alstom Transport as Vice-President Operations Controlling and a member of the company’s extended executive committee. Then, in 2008, he became Vice-President of Finance & IT for the VGC-Manuest group, which designs, markets and manufactures kitchens and bathrooms.
He joined Daher in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. He is now chief financial officer and head of information systems, sitting on the Executive Committee. Jérôme Leparoux, Human Resources Director After graduating from Sciences Po Toulouse in 1996, Jérôme Leparoux began his career as a business manager with Altran. In 2004, he joined Areva Nuclear Cycle as Deputy HR Director. In 2007, he was appointed Human Resources Director of Areva Nuclear Measurement, then in 2010 of Areva Fuel, and Areva Renewable Energies in 2012, before taking on the post of Director of Human Resources and Management Development of the Areva group in 2014.
He joined Daher in October 2015, as Director of Human Resources and member of the Executive Committee. Gilles Guillon, Manufacturing Advisor After graduating as an IT engineer at the Université de Nantes, as of from 1981 Gilles Guillon held several production functions in detail parts and assembly units at Airbus Nantes. From 1992, he was the deputy production director first at the Airbus Méaulte site and then at Nantes. He was appointed head of Airbus Saint-Nazaire in 2002.
In 2009, he joined Daher as industrial director for aerostructures, and entered the Group’s management committee in 2012 as Director of Industrial Strategy. He is now manufacturing advisor on the Executive Committee. 3 Business Units focused on business development and programs Nicolas Orance, Senior Vice President Aerospace & Defense Business Unit and Innovation Director Nicolas Orance heads the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit, whose offer – aerostructures and integrated logistics – is aimed at the major industrial players in this sector.
He holds a Master’s (DESS) in Materials from Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse and an Executive MBA from HEC. After two years of research at the national scientific research center (CNRS), he joined the company Mecaprotec in Toulouse as Head of R&D.
In 2000, he joined Daher as Plant director where he has managed activities ranging from R&D, to program management and profit center management. In 2007 he took on the position of Director of Business Development of the Aerospace & Defense division, then in 2012 joined the Group Management Committee to drive strategic projects and innovation.
Nicolas Orance is now Senior Vice President Aerospace & Defense Business Unit, and sits on the Group executive committee. Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President Airplane Business Unit Nicolas Chabbert heads the Airplane Business Unit, which designs and manufactures the TBM family, of which the TBM 900 is the newest member.
He holds an MBA degree from the Paris ESLSCA business school, as well as airline pilot and instructor licenses.
He began his career with Socata in 1992 as head of aircraft sales for Europe. In 1996, he became commercial director of Socata Aircraft Inc. charged with boosting sales of TB & TBM aircraft in North America. In 2001, he launched an industrial start-up project, but returned to aviation in 2002 as executive vice president of the American manufacturer Mooney. In 2005, he became co-director of General Aviation at Socata. Shortly after Daher’s take-over of Socata, he was appointed director of the Aircraft Business Unit in 2010.
Nicolas Chabbert is now Senior Vice President Airplane Business Unit, and sits on the Group executive committee. Hervé de Chillaz, Senior Vice President Advanced Technologies Business Unit Hervé de Chillaz heads up the Advanced Technologies Business Unit, whose offer – valves, nuclear services, integrated logistics – is aimed at the major industrial players in this sector.
After graduating from the French Naval Academy (Ecole Navale) in 1999, he began his career as an naval officer. In 2005, he graduated with an MBA from INSEAD, after which he joined LEK Consulting from 2005 to 2009, first in a consulting post, then as senior manager in charge of strategic consulting for corporate clients and investment funds.
He joined the Daher in 2010 as Senior Vice President Marketing and Communication, before being appointed Director for Development of the Nuclear & Energy Division in 2012.
Hervé de Chillaz is now Senior Vice President of the Advanced Technologies Business Unit, and sits on the Group executive committee. 3 Operational divisions devoted to operational excellence Christophe Berger, Senior Vice President Manufacturing Christophe Berger heads the Manufacturing operations division, responsible for all industrial design and manufacturing operations.
A graduate of the ESSTIN engineering school in Nancy, he began his career at Bosch, where he held several positions over a 10 year period, including quality manager, head of production engineering, and plant manager. In 1999 he joined Visteon, where for ten years he managed several of the Group’s plants in France and abroad. In 2011, he was appointed Operations Director at Johnson Controls, with responsibility for seven plants throughout Western Europe.
He joined Daher in November 2013 to take charge of Industrial Strategy on a group-wide basis.
Christophe Berger is now Daher’s Senior Vice President Manufacturing, and sits on the Group Executive Committee. Patrick Jeanroy, Senior Vice President Services Patrick Jeanroy heads the Services operations division, responsible for logistics services and industrial services operations.
He holds a Master’s degree in Logistics and transport from ESIDEC CERELOG. From 1985 to 1992, he was a logistics engineer with Digital Equipment France, before moving to Logic Line Consultants, in 1992, as consulting engineer and subsequently Director of Operations. In 1998 he was appointed CEO of Geodis Logistics Europarts and then Deputy CEO of Geopost Logistics in 2001.
He joined Daher in 2007 as Senior Vice President Logistics and Services.
Patrick Jeanroy is now Daher’s Senior Vice President Services, and sits on the Group Executive Committee. Pascal Laguerre, Senior Vice President Transport & Projects Pascal Laguerre heads the Transport & Projects operations division, responsible for transport operations, projects, and engineering and services operations for the nuclear business.
After graduating in process engineering, in 1993, from the UTC engineering school in Compiègne, he was a director within the consulting firm Accenture until 2004, where he worked on ERP systems integration and IS management organization, mainly in the sectors of energy, transport, and healthcare.
He then joined Daher to head service engineering activities. In 2011, he became head of Information Systems and Operational Performance.
Pascal Laguerre is now Daher’s Senior Vice President Transport & Projects, and sits on the Group Executive Committee.
