Production & Assembly Planner Training

Become a Production & Assembly Planner.

In the aeronautics industry, the planner is responsible for defining the work instructions for assembling an aircraft. This training will equip you with the skills to define manufacturing and assembly processes. You’ll learn how to create and manage industrialization requests, understand the principles of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and use the relevant tools effectively.

You will also learn how to calculate task times and submit tooling requests.

This planner training does not include the CQPM certification. The duration and content of the training modules vary depending on the chosen program.

Training Objectives

This training is designed to support career development in aircraft production and assembly roles. It provides participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for the role of a production planner.

Teaching Methodology

The course is delivered through modular sessions, presented via guided slide decks and practical exercises (real-world scenarios). A summary booklet covering key points is provided at the end of the training.

Training Validation

Participants complete a multiple-choice quiz (MCQ) at the end of the course to validate their skills. A training certificate is issued upon successful completion.

Target Audience & Requirements

Anyone starting in a production planner role. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the aeronautics field required.
