Patrick Daher remains Chairman of the DAHER Group while Didier Kayat takes over as CEO
Paris, April 1, 2016 – DAHER, an equipment supplier developing integrated industrial systems for aerospace and advanced technologies, has appointed Didier Kayat to the post of CEO. He takes over from Patrick Daher in this role as of April 1, 2016. The latter remains Chairman. The two will continue to work together to drive the future development and performance of the group.
As a recognized equipment supplier, Daher aims to become a benchmark for convergence between manufacturing and services and is set to play a part in shaping the smart, connected Factory of the Future. The current changes in governance are being made to ready the group to face the many challenges ahead.
Patrick Daher will now devote himself fully to the Group Chairmanship. He will be responsible for setting strategic direction both in France and internationally. In this context, he will also oversee the ongoing financial strength of DAHER.

Patrick Daher remains Chairman of Daher, the company founded in 1863 by his great-grandfather, Paul Daher.
ESSEC-educated, Patrick Daher joined DAHER in 1976 as CFO, before being appointed CEO of the American subsidiary. Patrick Daher took over as Chairman and CEO of Daher in 1991. In 2013, Daher celebrated its 150 years of existence during which the business has experienced periods of major growth and diversification, never more so than under his leadership.
Meanwhile, Didier Kayat, from his post of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of DAHER, has been appointed by the Board of Directors to the post of CEO as of April 1, 2016. He replaces Patrick Daher who has held the position since 1991.

After graduating from the ESCP Paris business school in 1987, Didier Kayat started his career in a multinational company environment.
In 1993, he set up a strategy and organization consultancy firm which included the DAHER Group amongst its customers.
He joined the DAHER Group in 2007 as Marketing and Development Director, before becoming Executive Vice-President for Strategy and M&A as of 2009. In 2012, he was appointed Group Executive Vice-President and President of the Nuclear & Energy and Capital Goods divisions, then in January 2015, Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
