Assembly outsourcing

So that automotive manufacturers can concentrate on the final vehicle assembly line, installing fully-assembled complex modules, DAHER assembles these modules, either on behalf of the manufacturers or on behalf of level 1 equipment suppliers.

For this service, DAHER operates like an equipment supplier and is responsible for:

• Industrialisation of the assembly process, including for product changes
• Acquisition of assembly lines and tools
• Complete assembly of the modules in the production sequence and at the same rhythm as the main line
• Synchronous delivery of the modules to the main line

With assembly outsourcing, DAHER takes full responsibility for assembling the modules, the same level of responsibility as a level 1 equipment supplier.

Special containers for assembly line sourcing

To meet the industrial and financial challenges of the automotive manufacturers and equipment suppliers, DAHER offers them the loan of special containers.

This comprehensive approach includes the design and production of the containers and then their provision on loan, which includes the services of permanent tracing via RFID chip and maintenance of the container fleet. The industrial groups therefore benefit from an all-inclusive package which incorporates investment financing.
